Would definitely recommend this heater it gives very powerful heat even on the low setting when you use it on days were there is a little cold fantastic source of heating .has I have always purchase dimplex the more expensive ones for the high quality room heat.but I am impressed with its output and have used all setting reallywarms the room up with its rapid pick up really impressed would definitely recommend this beats the air fan heaters which have so many off around the house .Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Buyer Beware!!!!!!!
I bought Two of these, one was the 2000w and the other 800w for my two children's rooms as my central heating pump had packed up. I already own a 1500w of another brand which is over 10 years old and that works brilliantly so I didn't hesitate to buy these when I saw they were on special offer! Big mistake!! These up to date versions made by Von Haus come with a safety mechanism which turns off the heater once it reaches a certain temperature however what they don't tell you is that this mechanism turns off your heater Before it has reached its required heat level resulting in a room that never gets that warm!! I messaged Von Haus directly as the company I purchased them from told me to return them as they were faulty but I could only have my money back and not a replacement as Ebay do not allow this?? So on contacting Von Haus and several messages and two weeks later I am told that these heaters are only to be used with central heating as the main source!! I replied that if my central heating worked I would have no need for the heaters. Then they said these heaters are only for occasional use??? Surely the thermostat should control the temperature? Apparently their safety mechanism overrides the thermostat and this is why ic can't reach the desired temperature! I was then told if I wanted to return then they had to be re sealed and packed in all original packing!! I would rather keep them as proof of how poor this product is and maybe do a you tube review. I realise other people have not had this problem but on researching other sites I can see that others have also found the same as me. My point is that if my old 10 year old heater with no safety mechanism heats my room perfectly then there has to be a problem with these two up to date versionsVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good Price, Good Quality Product
Well made and very neat little heater. We are using them to keep our print room at an ambient temperature so that the printers work to their optimum output. 2 of them are keeping a very large room at a constant 16-18 degrees. Good quality 2000W oil radiator
Works very well, good quality oil heater, pumps out heat well. Simple 3 levels of control and variable thermostat. The legs at the bottom are are the only thing that lets this down, they're very thin sheet metal that can easily be bent. Very easy to assemble wheels which enable the heater to be manoeuvred easily. On initial use the heater gave off some fumes but theses quickly disappeared. Heats up rapidly and will easily heat a 6m x 6m room. The additional benefit is that it is thermostatically controlled and cuts off when it reaches the required heat and automatically comes on when the heat in the room drops. Just what I wanted for my conservatory
I have had these oil heaters before and I find them really good. I have a large conservatory but it was not heated in the summer it is warm but winter not so the oil heater is just wonderful. I like this one because of the lead it is a rubber coated which makes it flexible more then the ones which are very stiff. Need for better design, and specification.
There should be a specification for heat output, and this would have enabled a better evaluation when I first used it. It seems to have improved with use and is my main portable heater, as other cheaper ones have fallen by the wayside.
