Better than original,
The phone end plug has a hard shell which is better than the OEM soft plastic one, which pulls off and breaks the conductors when pulling the plug out of a firm headphone socket. The only letdown is there's no strain relief grommet where the lead exits the plug, causing sharp bends which would fracture the cable jacket.
