The Leifheit Long Handled Closed Dustpan and Brush Set is poorly designed.
The Leifheit Long Handled Closed Dustpan and Brush Set is not fit for purpose because: 1) the opening to store the brush is too small and when the brush is inserted the bristles stick out over the edge bending them. 2) when the brush is clipped into the long handle of the dustpan, the whole assembly topples over unless one goes through an annoying routine of sliding the handle back past a flange on the top of the brush. 3) the fitting of the brush into the long handle is loose and the brush has fallen off on several occasions. 4) the end of the long handle of the dustpan is loose and rotates so that it is difficult to grip when holding. 5) the dustpan is too large and unwieldy. I have been bought several Leifheit products in the past (indoor and outdoor clothes airers) and have been very pleased with the quality and usefulness of them over a number of years, so I thought Leifheit would be a good choice for a long handled dustpan and brush amongst all the scores of items advertised on the Internet. However in this case I am most surprised that Leifheit are marketing such a poorly designed and seemingly untested product.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Best dust pan and brush!
Does exactly what it should, extremely well made top quality, I will only have this model as other cheaper dustpan and brush sets that are out there on the high street/supermarkets break easily and have not lasted too long. I particularly like the shut down lid mechanism and the brush easily moves at different angles to get at awkward places.
