PS1 & PS2 steering wheel
I decided to buy a steering wheel for my Playstation 1 & 2 and searched ebay for ones available. I wanted a gearstick built into the unit but not paddle shifters so this looked ideal. I was very suprised on how well it performed; the steering wheel is very "weighted" so it it is easy to steer smoothly and in control. The further you steer the harder it gets so it stops you oversteering by mistake. The gearstick is in a nice position which is easy to use should you want to drive in manual gearbox mode. (As a note, the gearstick position is a little dust collector which on mine made it stick, but a quick blast of air and some 'dry lubricant' spray fixed that - remember, most of these are secondhand). The pedals are great too, the brake pedal is harder to push than the accelerator pedal which is like a real car. The steering wheel unit has a built in vibration that rumbles when you come of the track which is a nice feature. It has all the normal controller buttons so you can navigate the screen - remember to use the mode button as it is different depending on which game you play. I'm not 100% sure, but I think this might be an official Sony licensed one. I would recommend this steering wheel, but if you prefer the paddle shift type there is a Speedster 3 which has paddle shift.......but I've never used that one.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
