This device works as advertised -- produces a sharp, bright image from a projector onto a frosted glass screen. The image is not tilted or discolored and has no unwanted texture like it would be if it were projected onto a painted wall. It's intended for use in making digital copies of film movies, but it's good for close-up viewing, too; I like it better than the old-fashioned fabric movie screen.
This device by itself does not resolve problems of image flicker due to differences in frame rate between projector and camera, but that's an issue for the projector and camera, not this device. And depending on the recording camera you're using, you may find that the image is rather small and bright and requires adjusting the camera.
If you have home movies you want to digitize or just view, this device is worth a try.
