Better than most
I had to write a review after reading some of the other reviews. Most were excellent, but one guy that said his was oversized and he had to use tape: I don't believe this is the norm. My 1" scope tubes fit perfectly in this scope mount. I have 3 of these and they are my "go to" mounts for my AR's. I've tried others like L&&^%$d and have to say the Burris P.E.P.R is much better and not as tacky looking. This is a very solid mounting system and locks into the picatinny rail better than the competition: It does not slide back and forth like some of the other mounts, which aids in getting consistent accuracy. I believe some of the other mounting systems are for the weaver type bases, not a true picatinny like a mil-std 1913 rail you'll find on most AR uppers. These mounts also come with the option for a smooth top ring and the picatinny top ring, which ads options to your set-up and lets you decide which style you use. I prefer the smooth top ring, since most of my AR's are precision AR's. With this being said, I have no problems shooting sub moa groups with my rifles using this set-up with a good AR type scope. You can't beat the price on the P.E.P.R mount. It's the only thing I'm going to buy from here on out. I'd highly recommend this product to anyone looking to upgrade their mounting system.

Not accurate at all!!!
The did not come as pictured or described. The measurements were completely wrong. With rifle scopes the 1" measurement is a circumference measurement. Their 1" measurement is a diameter measurement, so it is way too large for a 1" rifle scope tube. Nor does it have the side rails as pictured and described.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

The Only Scope mount in my opinion
I love the Burris 1-piece scope mount ! This scope mount is better than all the others I have tried. Great features
Unlike other scope mounts, this mount and the scope are easily taken off and reinstalled on another (or the same) rifle quickly, without losing zero. Strong Mount
I used this mount on my AR-10 and I was able to use a high torque value with the hex nuts. It held my scope very rigid and kept zero after over 100 round without loosing it torque.
