My favorite keyboard
The wireless connectivity works well and is very portable, handy if you have computers in different locations, or a laptop with a less than amazing keyboard. I don't use the mouse, because I have a different one that I prefer. I wasn't sure that the keyboard would work without the Dell mouse that accompanied it, but it seems to be just fine on its own. I like the way the board is raised, and the small Chiclet style keys are much nicer for a long typing session than other larger keys. It also has a lot of specialty keys, like volume control and things like that. I also like the fact that it has a full-size backspace button. It has dedicated media player keys
I have been using the "Dell Wireless Keyboard And Mouse with USB Receiver Dongle KM632 KJW6K 0KJW6K" for years, so when I spilled water on the one I had, screwing up the control key, I specifically looked for the same keyboard. It has dedicated keys for media players, which is an advantage when you make Powerpoint presentations with sound: you can easily check on and control the sound while constructing your presentation with the media player in the background without leaving the slides-view.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Can't make it work
I bought the mouse without the accompanying USB dongle, thinking it would work with our existing keyboard (this is an identical model replacement mouse for one that broke). My IT company informs me that there is no way to pair the mouse with an existing, matching dongle/keyboard - it is somehow hardcoded at the factory. Bottom line is that we are unable to use the mouse because of incompatibility with existing hardware and/or our Microsoft certified techs can't figure out how to pair without a matching dongle.
