Great idea, and well made also.
It is very good for checking the live view on a sunny day. There are a couple of downsides - On my D750 the screen protector obscures the edge of the image area due to the size of the screen within the frame showing the 100% image area. Also it is very easy to remove the hood therefore there is a chance that the hood will fall to the ground and be lost. So I have attached one of those lenscap tethers, and now if the hood is knocked off it only falls down 100mm on the tether.

The screen protector is excellent but most impressed with the sunshade hood magnetic so it is easy to attach when required
