Typical of the post & wire lineside fencing used by farmers all over the UK to keep livestock away from busy railway lines. This type of fencing can be seen all over the UK, and has been used many many years, making this kit suitable for pretty much any era model railway layout or diecast diorama. With real wood fence posts, it looks just the job straight from the packet. Very easy to build, making up to 1 metre of fencing from a single pack. To assemble, drill a row of 2mm holes at approximately 24mm spacing along your baseboard.

The space that I have chosen enhances the fence, it is fairly simple to install, however some patience is necessary when threading the wire, take your time and it will look absolutely great. Good product, but the wire may be awkward ...
This is a good product ... except that I found that the wire provided was very difficult to thread through the posts without its buckling & kinking. I don't think it was just clumsiness, but I was trying to fence a cattle pen, so there were several corners. I am going to try fishing line instead. Fabulous product for the patient modeller
Fabulous product and very representative of early to late/mid 20th century lineside fencing. Yes, you do need that patience of a saint to do this but the results are exceptionally worthwhile and rewarding. The complete fence looks particularly authentic and is surprisingly rigid too. I've now completed several lengths of fencing and it has added greatly to my layout.
