Don't use resister
I have the zmodo greet. Don't use the resister with this power supply. I couldn't get a straight answer from anyone rather or not to use one. So I bought and installed the resister only to find out it won't keep the internal battery charged. Tested the resister it checked out good. In my case I had no door bell in circuit.
