The high mass bridge is machined from a solid block of brass, originally designed as a retrofit to upgrade the sound and quality of the Gibraltar I and II bridges found on many Ibanez guitars (rear two screws only), it can of course be used on your own custom guitar builds.

Hipshot Slab is Bang On!!
This is a much better quality bridge when compared with the Gibraltar II. The image says it all. Easy to adjust, sustain seems much better and the guitar now sounds snappier with the Hipshot fitted. It’s super easy to install and makes a huge difference to the Guitar’s aesthetics. Highly recommended!!
