The perfect stick for me
My go-to sticks, been using these for 20+ years and they're just the right weight and length The last batch I ordered seemed to have less varnish than previously but that's a good thing as I usually try to remove at least some of the varnish from the area I grip so it tears my hands up less They're hickory so they last well vs other woods, I do go through them fairly quickly when playing metal but they're much more durable than oak or birch sticks These are the Extreme 5Bs which are slightly longer than standard 5Bs (but otherwise identical) Everyone has their own preferences but I find the extra few mm makes for a more comfortable balance point and a little more "whip" which is nice for generating more power
