Highly Recommended
I have a 160 year old house and I've used about 4 gallons of this product on most everything , on my porch , exterior details , window sashes , and shutters ..
It adds strength to the wood .. It's Not a wood filler or grain filler but you can add fillers once it cures .. It works best on dry or soft structurally sound solid wood ... Rotting wood It does harden it but has to be clean and dry and the result varies on how rotten the wood is .. It's Not a Miracle fix But it does work.. When applying it Don't be shy with it ..The wood will soak it in and eventually dry .. When the wood stops soaking in the product , stop .. WIPE off any excess with a paper towel . After it cures and dries the wood may look shiny but you can sand it or add wood fillers .. I've used Minwax stainable wood filler and time tested it and so far patches don't peel away from the wood .. I've used Bondo on spots and large gaps and voids ,it works good and sands smooth . Bondo MIGHT break away from soft wood leaving a hairline crack ..
BUT this product CAN save you BIG money if you learn to use it ...
