Great pickles! I have loved sour pickles since I was a little girl but somehow, over time, they were replaced on the grocery shelves with dill. Blecht! These pickles are EXACTLY what I remember! Damaged Packaging
The plastic bottle was broken and most of the vinegar had spilled out. I was able to transport the pickles to a different container and save the vinegar but it is not full of vinegar so I'm not sure the pickles will last. I took pictures of the packaging and the broken bottle. The package was not damaged but it didn't have fragile printed on it and obviously the package was dropped which broke the bottle. I tasted one of the pickles and they taste fine but I don't know how long they will last without all of the vinegar and being packed in the correct container. I was glad to be able to find the pickles because this is the only place I have been able to buy sour pickles which I use with one particular recipe.

Not To My Taste
I am from New York and found these pickles nothing like New York's sour pickles. The spices had a sharp bitter taste. I had one and had to discard the rest. I suspect if you are from anywhere other than the east coast the pickles will be okay. I find there is a difference in taste preferences between east and west coasters. I was happy to recoeve them but the lid was loose, the seal inside was broke and they leaked all over the box, and the bag they were in. I still ate them because pickles are life!
