Hormann Wireless Finger Scanner FFL 25 BS - 868MHz BiSecur. The Hörmann finger reader can be easily surface-mounted. The Hörmann FFL 25 BS is downward compatible and can therefore be used for Hörmann drives with 868 MHz (blue buttons) as well as for the current BiSecur drives with 868 MHz BS.

Ultimate in simplicity and security
This is a fantastic addition to a Hormann garage door, that already has an automated door operator, such as a SupraMatic with BiSecur etc. Having the ability to program up to 14 individual fingers, and operate up to 2 doors from a single unit is brilliant! Meaning everyone in the family can have secure access to the door/s, without the need to remember a key or a pin. The initial setup needs to be done in a specific order and require’s ‘very carefully’ following the steps in the included manual, but once done, its done. If you’re following the BiSecure setup like I did, you’ll need one of your Hormann remotes, as it will need to learn its code during this process (afterward the remote will still work separately as normal). The reader itself is completely wireless, running on 4 AAA batteries (Duracells are included in the box). The batteries should last well, as the reader only activates when the weatherproof cover is slid up to reveal the finger scanner, or if the ON button is pressed. When a finger is scanned the door will automatically begin opening or closing (depending on its starting position). During the doors operation, you can press the ON button to either stop, or press again to reverse the doors direction. This is a nice safety feature that also allows the door to be left partly open, say if you wanted the ventilate the garage etc. All in all a great addition to my Hormann garage door!
