Just another of Lee's great products. Well engineered and built to last a lifetime or two. I have a lot of Lee reloading equipment and dies. They all perform very well and are very well made. I have had other brands in the past, but Lee Precision is my favorite, and everything is affordable. Lee classic press is okay
Like all Lee products, it is innovative design that should make reloading a lot faster. While I don't mind the use of a given material such as plastic...I think using plastic on some items like the central block that pushes the spiral steel post(gear?) to rotate the 4 hole die block/dies, is almost sure to break at some point during it's use. plastic is cheaper no doubt, but it's generally a poor material if longevity is desired!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Best Bang for your Buck

Excellent value for the price
The Lee Classic turret press is a great buy for a reloading beginner. Has good instructions, simple to setup and use. If you want a portable reloading press, get the Lee tripod stand. Can’t be beat for the price.
Great press. I purchased the press alone since I already had a Lee single stage press kit. This press is much faster. At this price point it does have a couple con’s that you may or may not have an issue with. (1) If you like to stand to reload the lever is not comfortable to use very long, On the full down stroke you have to lean over which is hard on your back after a while, and the ball handle will make your palm sore. I solved that problem with an Inline Fabrication Ergo lever. Pricey but once you try it you will love it. (2) the primer feeder leaves much to be desired, they are very flimsy & finicky to keep aligned. I solved that problem by throwing them in the trash & buying a hand primer from another major company. Even with those problems for the price it is a very nice press. If you have any problems with it such as aligning the turret or anything there are many Utube videos available. I enclosed a pic of the lever upgrade I purchased.

AWESOME PRESS
This press was purchased for a specific purpose, to size and bell pistol cases. I expected to receive a rough finished fair quality press, I didn't. The quality and finish was far beyond what I was expecting. Tight tolerances, smooth action and a superb finish. I now use this press for most operations. I batch load. This means I do all of the case prep separate from loading. With cases already prepped for loading and priming done off press, I was able to load 200 9mm rounds in 45 minutes, That is also with bullet seating and crimping done in two different stages. I wanted to learn to reload but didn’t wanna spend a fortune on a press until I understood what i was buying and this press has turned out to be great and very affordable.
