If you have it, you need this.
Nothing else will do for certain ‘vintage’ Vicks humidifier models. You will have a hard time getting them anywhere else than eBay. Prevents buildup of white film or mineral deposits in the room. These will eventually need to be replaced even if you use deionized water from your lab supply as I do. works as advertised
The cartridge drops into and fits easily in my cool mist vaporizer. It prevents white dust from being sprayed with the water vapor, exactly as advertised. The instructions on the box say they are supposed to be replaced after 2-3 weeks of continuous use. I use the vaporizer only on cold dry nights, a maximum of 3 weeks per month, December-March.. Did not fit my Vick's Humidifier w/DC-51 Kaz cartridge
