Can’t fault it. Used instantly.
First review I’ve ever gave. The product had a slight bow in it but I guess it’s due to the sheer length of it. Wouldn’t hesitate to buy another. Purchased this and it was here under 24hours. Heats up very quickly and the cooks steak 1.5inch thick in a few mins and eggs are just an absolute delight. Best I’ve ever tasted as they didn’t have oil all over them. Plugged into socket and waited. Then after 20 minutes still no warm. I unplugged it and checked the fuse. Upon opening I found the live wire was not connected. Very dodgy. I recut the wires and re wired it. And after putting back together it worked. Generally very good
I have bought two of these, the first one was superb, the second one has a very temperamental thermostat and even on full, the griddle cools down enough that things "stop sizzling" before eventually coming back on. The other one works brilliantly. Other than the thermostat issue on one of them, the only minor gripe is that the fat drip tray is stiff enough to "snag" when removing it - so you end up squirting boiling fat if you need to empty it "mid cooking session". It can cook eight quarter pounder beefburgers in under 10 minutes - and frying eggs is both easy and fun - crack the egg and a few seconds later if nothing else is on the griddle, you can just gently raise one end and watch the egg slide off to the side. Small things. Point is, the non stick surface appears to be excellent. Clean up is a doddle and takes about two minutes tops - involves wiping down properly with disposable paper towels to leave a spotless surface that you would never know had ever been used. Thermostat and "sticking" fat drip trays are the only things that cost it "a star".Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great for price and cooking fried breakfast
Quick delivery. Well packed. Great price Non stick. Has wooden spatchlers. The plug can come out of the hot plate. So can be transported to a table. I cooked Sunday full english breakfast on a table in our garden. I used an extention lead. Lead not very long. Has sausages, bacon, eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, fried bread all done at once. Just left eggs until last. I wiped little oil with paper towel first. I then got a spoon and popped little oil over the egg yoke to get it white. Egg edges came out nice crispy Just don't have temperature on high. It cooks so quick and bacon can come out too crispy. I then cooked rump steak, and ckicken kebabs, steak burgers at the night time in the garden on a picnic table. Everyone enjoyed it. So can cook for 4 peopke easily at once. Love my grill. Arrgh! the charcoal won't light
Frustrated with traditional charcoal bbqs, I thought I'd give this ago. I like it. I've not used a great amount yet, it's early days. There is plenty of room on the grill for us, as a moderate consumer of food. The last time I used it it had enough room for two sea bass and 2 sea bream And a good amount of chopped peppers. Really good. As with all non stick surfaces you need to take car of that surface, cleans well. I cook 4 pancakes at a time on mine (needs a flat surface or the batter trickles to the edge, making funny shapes). The spatulas are prone to misshape, I hope they come from a sustainable source. Super tasty food, super fast
Chicken strips and breasts, salmon steaks taste the best I've ever cooked. The griddle is so fast you get lovely seared, browned coat on the outside while the middle cooks completely yet stays soft and juicy inside. Veggies cook the same, tomatoes and peppers get lovely and sizzly - mushroom taste is really enhanced, much better than fried and not dried out like when you grill them. And all done with a couple of sprays of light olive oil and no sticking! It's so fast to heat up you actually have to turn the heat down almost straight away and it cools quickly too. To clean, it's just a quick wipe with a damp paper towel or cloth. I love it and keep throwing all sorts of stuff on it to experiment. A fun way to BBQ with Friends
A BBQ everyone can gather around without the hastle of dealing with Charcoal smoke or Gas fumes and tanks, honestly its huge. Cooks very fast and can fit about 16 1/4 pounders on at a time! Easy to setup and most importantly very easy to clean, I was a bit dubious about the videos on cleaning but it wipes clean very easily with the help of a little hot water., No Scrubbing with brillos! My only issue is that its hard to keep a low to mid tempreture as the thermostat switches the element on and off so it cools down and then suddenly ramps up the heat rather than maintaining a constant tempreture. I ended up turning the heat quite high and then used a couple layers of nonstick foil which helped even out the cooking of Chicken Meat without it burning! much more fun than a standard barbeque!!!
I have to admit that I thought the traditional barbeque could not be beaten but trust me one of these is much more fun . Put it in the centre of the table, plug it in and off you go . We use a quick spray of oil and cook so many things on it. You can even fry eggs to top burgers and all sorts of veg are great. After the main course you can try American pancakes which cook perfectly. Cleaning is a simple wipe over with kitchen towel and you can use it inside too when the weather is not good.
