Good deep fat fryer
Fryer is really easy to use. Its easy to assemble and fill with oil and I'm expecting it to be easy to clean. I've only used it a couple of times so haven't yet emptied oil but it appears that it will be easy to empty and clean. Components are dishwasher proof too which is a bonus. Only down side is the handle sticks out loads when in place and is a bit of a faff to put in and remove when finished with.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Better than the chippy
Was not sure at first but once l used the fryer l wish l had brought one before it ideal with power to spare so l get crispy chips without them being dried up and hard and it heats up very quickly and holds the frying temperature well and douse not take up a lot of room like my old unit did l just be care full with the heating element as not to damage it but its made strong this may be the cheaper model but l cant fault it for the money its really good value easy to clean and looks great in my kitchen,l definitely recommend this fryer to anyone it will cook frozen chips to perfection in 4/5 minute's no problem.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Cheap as chips and just as tasty.
Much cheaper than other brands. It works really well and holds quite a bit of oil. The immersion heating element ifts off the fryer so you can clean the base, but the top does get very greasy so needs regular cleaning. Handy viewing window.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Really pleased
I ordered because my smaller Aldi fryer had died and I wanted one that could be cleaned easily and properly. Pretty much the whole thing comes apart for cleaning which is great. Its the chips!
Great little fryer. it has all the pluses...it looks nice, its easy to clean, it has easy grip handles. It has two indicators, one to show it has power and one to show it is at the required temperature. ( Our previous fryer only had the one indicator and when we had problems with it we didn't know if it was the power or the temperature that was going wrong). So having two indicators is a bonus. The handle can be stored and put on the basket when required. It has a lid with filter and a window though we use it with the lid off. Easy to clean fryer.

For the money this is a good piece of kit, it does exactly what it says on the tin. Only downside is there is no fill level for the oil. I checked the temperature on the dial with a cooking thermometer and it was accurate + - 1 or 2 degrees. Do not use the lid whilst cooking as water goes everywhere. Fill oil up to just below the top of the basket whilst empty and cold and do not try and get 1kilo of stuff in there to cook as it will not fit. Cooks stuff very well if you set the temps right.
