    Not like grandads

This new version of the old classic has changed little in its function or accuracy with a chosen pellet. However the quality of the sights and loose fit of pump handle need the companies attention. The front sight was tilted to the left and is fitted crooked, I am unable to correct. The rear sight could not go down enough to achieve point of impact, so I had to modify the rear sight base to fit lower and except its range of shooting a few yards further than wanted. The pump arms hinge pins connect loose and although work well, it has me concerned over prolonged use. The gun has exceptional accuracy with specific pellets, but like most airguns is a finicky eater. Although the gun is newly designed in a plastic stock and receiver, wood stocks and metal receivers are available from websites of air gunner enthusiasts, so a person can rebuild this classic to its earlier designed splendor. I do give this gun a thumbs up and recommend it to anyone looking for a good lil plinker.

    Let down

Was at a friends property, used a pellot rifle to shoot tin cans, had a lot fun, wanted something of my own. At 40 feet the pellot hits 4 foot to the right and 1 foot low. Front plastic sight is canted off to the left and the barrel end (muzzle) looks like they used it to hammer nails. NOTE: there are no witness marks to show post production damage, ie., blueing was applied after the barrel was butchered. Now I see why there so many videos on you tube that modify the original product. I don't know if this review will remain intact...they powers in charge make it virtually impossible to leave a negative product rating, all to keep the vender happy.

  • Quality and value

Well right out of the box with the hollow point crossman pellets I was plinking cans at 35-50 yards away consistantly. Its durable dependable and impressively accurate for a .22 cal air pistol. My girlfriend wants her order placed right away she just loves it. Its easy to cock and load the breech is roomy. I love this gun. I have it in .177 also and it is also very accurate. I think I will order myself another and my girlfriend one also if I ever plan on having a turn of my own to shoot.

  • A Crosman classic.

This Crosman classic is the ‘go to’ pistol in my collection. No Co2 tube to install, pump to power velocity and a barrel length that gives it precision accuracy. Well made, balanced and ergonomic in my hands. Only collectors will understand this; I love looking at it and just holding it.

  • Crosman 1322 air pistol

Out of production for a few years, the 1322 came roaring back in the American Classic series in 22 caliber.Using the same pump and accumulator valve as my 1377 .177 caliber, I had already made a list of needed modifications needed for adequate power in projecting a larger and heavier pellet. I was wrong (at least for now) and the only change I immediately made was to install the carbine stock I already had on hand to help steady the gun. Since the 1322 has the same muzzle energy as the 1377, the heavier pellet is about 1/3 slower. Nevertheless, with 10 pumps it actually penetrates 1/16" deeper through old 3/4" pine (barely through). Impressive! The only reason for 4 stars is Crosman's choice to go with a plastic instead of steel breech since the plastic breech's deformation over time has been problematic on the 1377 and now the 1322 and the lack of a 11mm mounting rail for aiming attachments.

  • An old classic that still provides lots of value and fun shooting at a low price

I bought this with the idea of modifying it... there are dozens of companies that make custom parts for this: increased power valves, walther barrels, scope mounts, steel breeches, roller triggers, you can mod this gun in a hundred different ways so I'm going to. Already I sent away for the steel breech, flat top piston and valve and wood grips and curious what my FPS will wind up being. I have a chronograph so i just chronod the gun, now in its unmodified state, here's what i got: 3 pumps - 305 FPS; 5 pumps, 383 FPS; 8 pumps 438 FPS and 10 pumps, 480 FPS. I'm hoping with a new valve and port it'll be closer to 650, actually I'm more interested in what I can get at 3 pumps as it is more pleasant to shoot the less pumping you have to do. Anyway, this is a great beginning gun, fairly accurate out of the box and fthe fun factor is off the charts. I installed all the mods and here's what it chronied so far: 5 pumps, 413 FPS: 7 pumps, 442 fps: 10 pumps, 498 fps; 15 pumps, 547 FPS. It was not a huge increase but I was not expecting miracles, (if FPS was my entire goal I'd get a Benjamin 392.)With the modded parts you can go 20 pumps (570 fps) but I found the valve was not dumping all the air so I installed a stronger hammer spring, have not chronied the gun with that yet.

  • Great Plinker

The Crosman 1322 is a great plinker. I like that I never have to worry about CO2 cartridges, just pump load and shoot. The stock front and rear sights are decent with the rear sight being adjustable for windage and elevation but not very reliable.Works best with a decent scope. I recommend this pellet gun mostly for someone that intends to modify it by at least adding a scope.

  • Crosman p1322

I like it fine now that I replaced the front sight. It was warped to the left so bad it was not uasble. I read all of your feedback and did not trust that you would return my money. You seem to have a problem with that. Anyway I spent $10 on a new one and did not have to get involved in your system. Thanks.

  • Great Air Pistol

The Crosman P1322 .22 cal air pistol is truly a classic target pistol. It is well designed and well made. The multiple pump mechanism allows for different velocities for different types of targets and different types of backstops. Overall, it is a great air pistol that will last a lifetime.

  • Crosman 1322 pistol...A+

This new Crosman 1322 pump up pistol shoots right at the advertised velocity of 460 fps at 8 pumps with 14 grain pellets over my F-1 chrony. Add two more pumps and it shoots at 480 fps. Standard Crosman open sights take some getting used to. This pistol is great for plinking and informal target shooting. Great for small pest too.
