A Low priced, High Value Weather Station.
It is so easy to set up. the instructions are in decent size print and very detailed. The only drawback is it has no facility to hang on a nail. To be able to read it I have had to tape it at an angle on a small shelf a metre away from where I sit. Mixed performance - some issues but not bad
The product mostly works fine but I have found 2 snags. I bought it as a replacement for a similar product whose display had died but I retained the outside temp sensor. The outside readings I was getting from the new product were wild so I substituted the old sensor and it worked fine - radio signal fitted immediately. The second issue I have is setting the time; every day we wake up to the time moved on an hour as it seems to be confused about BST. I have tried repeatedly to fool it about time zones etc but I cannot get it to stay at the right time overnight. So I have got into the rhythm of getting up and resetting the clock every day! Having said all that, I am very happy with the overall performance and it does what I need at a low price. In fairness to the supplier, I have not reported my issues as I can't be bothered getting into sending stuff back etc as it basically works. I should add that the supplier was kind enough to put 15p change in with the product they sent as the postage was less than they quoted. Great for the money
The outdoor sensor of my trusty Oregon gave up the ghost so I chose this station which was cheaper than buying a new sensor and I am not dissapionted. It appears to be well made, with a nice display, the viewing angle could be better but you just have to position it properly. Set up is easy and the company even sent an email covering some of the most common errors people encounter when turning it on for the first time. Looks classy.
Great gizmo that seems accurate and really useful. I love the fact that it is radio controlled meaning that the clock is accurate all the time. This weather station looks more expensive than it is and appears to be well made. It is very easy to set up - I let it do all the hard work by letting it set up itself overnight - and then there's nothing else to do! Pretty happy overall
