Not genuine Samsung, but does the job.
First off this ice maker is working and producing ice, just as the original failed component used to. Secondly, this is sold as a genuine Samsung part; it is not. I have compared the two components side by side and it is blindingly obvious that this one is a cheap Chinese replica - make up your own mind by looking at the image supplied with this review. Overall I am 'satisfied' that the item is working but not with the underlying deception.
