Great TV. Simply the best I've seen and particularly at the sub £1000 price point I purchased at. Fantastic colour gamut, from deep deep blacks to beautifully bright highlights, whilst retaining detail in both. Amazing! The controls available in 'settings' provide very good control over picture quality which I think, should enable most buyers with the facilities to obtain the perfect image quality they desire. The only tip that I might suggest is, avoid any temptation to set any level of economy for the panel. All this provides in reality, is noticeably decreased image quality regarding image dynamics. If you really want to economise, don't buy a high performance TV in the first place. It makes no sense to me at all, to fork out good money, only to restrict the performance to save a few quid! My only negative comment is regarding what I suspect, was a purely 'chance' setting situation which, I encountered personally. Partly I suspect. due to my haste to get my new tv up and running and partly also, to this being the first tv of this type I had purchased and set up. Being an OLED panel, the tv needs to carry out a quick panel clean every so often, to help maintain quality and reliability I presume. Now, the tv does not need to carry out this procedure until it has been in continuous use for four (4) hours. If the tv is turned off after this time, the tv will switch into standby mode and commence it's fast panel clean procedure. However, what by chance I believe, confused the situation for me was the fact that the settings option to 'Turn TV Off After'.....variable time settings available; my new tv came pre-set to the minimum FOUR (4) HOURS. Yes, exactly the same minimum time 'on' when a 'Fast Panel Clean' will be carried out. So, me being ignorant of the 'Turn Off TV After' setting being also set to four hours, what would happen would be this. After watching my new tv for four hours, the tv would suddenly produce a message stating "There has been no communication received from HDMI for some time and the TV will be turned off". And, this then occurred almost immediately. Also then, forcing the panel to go directly into it's FAST PANEL CLEAN mode! Of course, me not being the brightest tv engineer in the household, I 'obviously' thought it to be a fault. Well, you would wouldn't you.....Wouldn't you? Sadly, it took me quite a while before I finally twigged what was going on (or off!) in this case. Once the time before TV Off setting was adjusted to a longer period, the problem was solved. Silly me! Another silly mistake I made was to initially use the HDMI leads I had for my old HD tv, not realising I required higher spec HDMI 4k Ultra HD leads. Of course, the quality with my old leads did not provide good quality with my new 4k ultra hd tv at all. Purchasing the correct higher performance hdmi leads immediately resolved this situation, providing stunning image quality I had frankly, not fully been expecting. I trust you folks won't be making the same daft mistakes I made. Of course you won't, will you? GET ONE AND ENJOY! DavidRead full review

Picture quality is great although black/grey colours seem to have a waving effect when programmes go dark. Sound exceptional
