Excellent, bright 12 gauge strings. One thing worth noting... If you have a Martin dreadnought guitar (D18 or D28), it comes from the factory with 13 gauge strings. When my strings got old, I swapped them for these 12 gauge Martin strings which seem to be slightly easier to fret as it requires less force. The sound has not suffered.

Have tried strings from a few different manufacturers on my Martin guitar over the years but these Lifespan strings are my favourites. They sound good, are robust and still sound fresh months after fitting. It’s no coincidence that Martin now ship many of their guitars with these fitted.
