Worked 1st time!!
I ordered this item as the reviews seemed positive and I needed to update my Satnav from 2017! The item arrived well packaged and I simply replaced the old SD CARD with this one. It then asked me to confirm this was the vehicle it was to be registered to and next thing it was loaded and I was active. The interface is slightly different but easy to get used to. Product is not working
Sir Today I received my navigation memory card, took the old card out, installed the new one. It came up reading memory card. Then it came up No memory card containing navigation software inserted. I have tried it several times with the same result. I then tried the old card no problem. the car is a 2018 Mercedees c-class W205 I might be wrong, but it looks like there is nothing on the card. Absolutely brilliant, Plugged it into my card slot, confirmed that it was for use with my car and the sat nav system was had the latest map. Had to remove chinese character files, but this is usual as a bug in merc/garmin system. Added my own POI files (Speed cameras) and everything worked great, Connected to Mercedes map updates, via download manager on PC, and download manager checked online and confirmed that it was fully uptodate (as of May 2021). Simply the best .....
Was a bit reluctant to buy a new SD card over the internet as I’m not very IT literate. However, Mercedes Benz said they would update my 2016 Satnav on my E Class for £100. So, I talked to a few people and decided to buy this product. 👍 I have saved myself just over £70 for the same thing as MB were offering. Just take out old sd card and insert new one. Wait a few moments, then hey presto,your updated Satnav is ready to go. Nothing further to do. It also retains any Favourite routes you have previously saved. Easy as pie
