Purchased for my mother who suffers from arthritis and has difficulty opening jars and bottles. The product feels very flimsy and when used just twists rather than grips,i tried it for myself and was unable to open anything with it yet could undo anything easily using my hands. This opener is perfect .It has a ridge to put the tops of jars into so it holds them nicely.I have even used the smaller hole for opening Milk container tops ,they always made my hand sore ,and fizzy drink bottles.
