Good product and good customer support
Had initial problems with the unit but customer support helped me through it. Problem was my phone splitter had become faulty which prevented the unit from identifying incoming numbers accurately. since replacing the splitter has worked very well. Give great satisfaction to block these scam callers and number dial feature using block list means silent or abandoned numbers can be input to the unit using one's own phone. Peace from phonespam - but an apparently 80p product for £80?
The value of this product is in what you don't get to see, the calls it blocks. This one works, but you need to know that, unlike other CPR products (certainly when using it for its "whitelist" functionality"), your phone will register the number of blocked calls without ringing. The quality of the unit itself might best be described as "Poundland reject" and activating the whitelist functionality which is the device's USP is a bit like trying to operate a hooky Prinzsound calculator ("cheap Tamagotchi" depending on your age - in 2021 there isn't really *any* other electronics kit that is so hard to operate - I had first been wondering whether the unit was faulty but then I got the programming to work lol). I remember 20 years ago having the option to program my landline whitelist from my PC. Here, you have to dial the number, and rush to cancel the phone call before it connects, to program it in - clunky lol! The peace from phonespam has justified the huge cost until now, but it could be far more like a £80 device. Highly recommend this easy to use effective call blocker
My mother lives alone and has dementia. She was receiving scam calls almost on a daily basis and becoming increasingly upset. Although she had a built in call blocker with BT in required entering 4 digits into the phone when the scam call had finished which confused her. This device has a big red button to press which cuts the call and stores the number. This is so much easier for her to do and understand. I would highly recommend. 10000 numbers what ever
