Best of the best
The Holosun Hx510C are my favorite reflex sight, especially the green reticle versions as the reticle focus remains sharp with my astigmatism from cataracts. That said, the red reticle works fine, just not as in focus. There is a lot to like: Large sight window, very rugged construction, reticle options, solar powered back up, auto brightness setting, shake awake, easy to use buttons, and excellent battery life. Possibly the best feature is significantly lower mass vs a MSR type scope & mount, which helps keep a pistol or SBR light and nimble. For 25-50 yards where point point accuracy doesn't matter the 510C is the best I've found.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great sight unless it's bright out. Don't expect the solar only to work in those conditions.
I like the sight for the money. Pros Dot, circle dot, or circle. Multiple brightness. Easy to use and seems to stay on target. But I use it on my 300 BO AR pistol frame and close up targeting. Instant on when picked up. But that option shuts off after it's been setting for a time. Great FOV at short range tactical Cons At high daylight I cannot see the sight in the reticle on battery. Absolutely amazing!
I have been looking for a decent holographic sight for awhile and of course I looked at Sig, Vortex and EOTec cause that’s all I knew. It wasn’t until I mentioned I was looking for an optic that my friend recommended holosun. Considering how much cheaper they are compared to other brands, I was skeptical. However, when I got it, I couldn’t believe the quality! Supper sturdy build, 3 different sight options, and I didn’t even have to make adjustments to make it fit nice and snug on my AR. Fit perfectly right out of the box. Took it to the range and it was a breeze to zero. 10/10 would recommend. I’ll be buying their magnifier from them soon as well!

Excellent Value For An Excellent Optic
This is my second HS510C after owning one for about a year. The circle dot is great, especially for those like me that have a mild astigmatism. This optic I ordered came brand new, unopened and worked as expected. Holosun 510 C Shake Awake and solid.
This is my second Holosun product and it is a terrific sight. The sight has a Titanium-alloyed, shock resistant hood. The glass is clear and the green dot-circle is very sharp. The shake-awake feature is an excellent addition that activates the sight when it gets moved. The quick detach base makes the sight easy on, easy off if necessary. The battery, a CR-2032, is inexpensive and is good for 20,000- 50,000 hours. The weight is 8.3 ounces. My MRO is only 4.6 onces without the mount. It is possible to see your fixed sights through the Holosun. I also have a Trijican MRO with a red dot. This was my favorite but now I am in a quandry. Worth the money
Wide field of view,3 crisp bright reticles,long battery life with solar power as well. Haven't had this more than a month but have put a few hundred rounds through my 7.5 AR pistol with the Holosun and it works great haven't had a single issue. Great product

Best Bang 4 U’re Bucks!
This is an awesome red dot! It has better features that the higher priced competition and has a clearer more easy to see dot. The only thing I didn’t like is that I can’t co-witness my sights. My New Holosun HE510C GR Elite Sight, YES
While reviewing several ‘Red Dots’ it became apparent that the Holosun out shined the majority of the group. 1st It is able to state a 50,000 hour battery life, an ambient light solar module that will power the sight under most lighting conditions and it is rather easy to remove, but at 50,000 hrs that’s a few years for a constant user. 2nd It features a truly quick release mount w/ a safety catch. 3rd Rather light weight while being protected by a Titanium Shroud. 4th Has a green lamp, better for most eyes, I prefer it in dim to dark lighting conditions. Oh, lest I forget, it offers ‘shake awake, really all you need to do is lift the firearm up and the lamp comes alive, I believe it goes back to sleep in 10 minutes, no baggy. 5th It can be dialed down to permit use with night vision equipment. Now-The downside, it is made outside of the US, second issue, 1 Year warranty. I truly doubt that most people will come to see that as an issue. Bottom Line- The many plus’ truly out way the rather minor negatives. Of course we would all like to see a lower price. I paid the going rate $339 complete, one day shipping, everything arrive in great condition and it performs as expected. WoW, IF EVERY PRODUCT OR SUPPLIER COULD DELIVER LIKE THAT.
