Bright, Durable, Duty-Capable is an UNDERSTATEMENT.
This weaponlight has seen over 2k rounds in under a month now. The battery holds up very well with charge, and the dual-fuel works in a pinch. Taking it's own battery (fancy charging method, might I add) as well as CR123s. After mounting on an Arisaka mount to MLOK Geissele rail, the light preformed better than anticipated. Surefire finally catches up to other LED lights. Surefire makes the best flashlights. They're the standard by which all the others are compared. Except for LED flashlights. They've been behind the ball on LED lights. Until they came out with these new 18650 lithium battery powered units that output 1,500 lumens. I've been carrying Elektrolumens EDC flashlight for years and still do for a handheld flashlight. My Elektrolumens uses the 18650 rechargeable batteries and outputs 1,000 lumens with it's LED. It's the best there is for hand held EDC LED flashlights. They're gone out of business. Unfortunately, they never made any high power LED weapon lights. They never made any weapon lights. The other, cheaper brand and cheaper quality companies do make weapon lights. None of them compare to Surefire products. This new M600 Scout makes it the best weapon light out there. It, like the older Surefire M600 weapon lights are tougher, more rugged, more streamlined, and more reliable than the others. This new LED and the use of 18650 lithium rechargeable batteries makes this weapon light the best one on the market.

This is my first surefire scout and I'm super impressed coming from a streamlight. It's thinner than the streamlight but feels pretty solid.
