Quality battery replacement without the crazy price tag.
It does take some effort to get the old one out (I used dental floss sprayed with contact cleaner/lubricant to saw through the old double-sided tape holding the original in place) but the replacement is perfect, including having the double-sided tape already on it you need to stick it in place. Screwdrivers supplied by ServiceX (svx-online) are of a surprisingly high quality too.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Incomplete kit?
Beware that you’ll also need some liquid adhesive remover to take the old battery out. One of the two supplied screwdrivers stripped during the removal of the old battery so now I have to wait until tomorrow before I can complete the battery swap. Quality issue?Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

After some days of normal use it seems good
The battery really looks genuine, and it seems it is working well. The capacity is a bit over the rated 8460 mAh – just like it was when I bought the machine back in 2013. With my unit the only "problem" was that all the glue stuck to the packaging (the hard plastic baseplate the battery was delivered on), so it is not sitting as firm inside the laptop as the original. Actually it is positive in my case as soon I have to disassemble it again to install the new trackapd I ordered and anyway it can be remediated with some two-sided tape.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I have bought replacement , copy parts before , which they have not turned up . And from other reviews ,copy parts ... they do not work . This supplier supplied the correct battery pack , and the battery pack arrived very quickly . Original part. So peace of mind . Perfect quality . Slightly more expensive , but you know it is going to work perfectly which it does . Whats not to like . Replacement battery for MacBook Pro 15 Retina
Battery arrived on time, well packaged and carried recommendations for resetting PRAM and SMC after fitting - good advice. The battery was an original Apple product which looked to have been removed from a MacBook, presumably because of some warranty or other catastrophic failure. I would say that the area around the battery cable connector was not in perfect condition but, once fitted (and after PRAM and SMC reset) the battery performed perfectly. It might have been helpful to include fitting instructions but there are instructional videos on YouTube so this wasn't an issue.
