    My review of walking with dinosaurs

    Ever since I was a kid, I was fascinated by these incredible dinosaurs in this miniature series, they help bring to life the creatures that no one has ever heard of and that they've never seen before, my favourite episode is the one with the sea creatures because it makes me feel like I was on an island only to be surrounded by these beautiful animals, although most people didn't know what a real one looked like, but some tried to make sense of the dinosaurs ecology.

    A gritty and factual account, no frills.

    I recall watching this series as a boy when it was released in the early 60's and wanted to rewatch it as an adult. It is without doubt the best documentary of the "war to end all wars" which saw the flower of early 20th century manhood taken to near annihilation for the most pathetic of reasons. This series is not to be missed if you want to know about WW1.

    Magical 'feel good' story.

    Story centres around children's relationship with step-mum (Patsy Kensit) who is just trying to be a good mum but rejected by the children (their own mum had died). Mythical creatures adventures help the children to realise that step-mum is good and was always there for them unconditionally.

    Summer Magic!

    It's a classic Edwardian love story about the divide between the upper & working classes. Julie Christie is heavenly to watch & there is an interesting sub plot as the family's young guest for the summer, tries to work some magic. Wonderful movie!
