Warm the Tarmac up first - put bag in bucket of hot water, after 15 minutes, it then becomes very soft and useable. Easy to lay, and when it cools down, it goes rock hard. Wear gloves as the tar is difficult to get off your hands.

Excellent stuff. A little bit stiff to work to start with but persevere with a trowel or similar tool. I think its vital to use a bitumen spray to seal the base and around the join. This repair has stood the weight of a bin lorry that reverses over it once a week. Would recommend.

To get it hot and easy to use place it in a greenhouse or under a poly tunnel or plastic sheet and leave in the sun if you can.Pours easy :-) Of course you have to do it on the three days of summer we have .
