Highly functional with a Nice Design
I purchased 2 of these open box with significant savings. They both arrived within a week in like new condition. They installed quite easily. The only additional expense was to replace the existing water supply lines to elliminate leaks. The styling of the bidet seats is very elegant and improves the appearance of my bathrooms. The remote control makes it very easy to get the exact cleansing action and water temperature you desire. They get the job done fast and are much more sanitary than using toilet paper or wipes and leaves a nice feeling. I can assure you that your toilet paper usage will be greatly reduced. Poor design, plastic mounting clips can not withstand lateral movement without breaking! Once broken user is in for dangerous face plant to the floor!
Although Brondell offered no disclaimer or warning about the poor design, or user requirements, the company is clearly aware of design flaws that place users at risk when any lateral movement is involved in getting on, or off, of of their product. My daughter was transferring from a wheelchair to the Swash 1000 and the tiny, plastic, mounting clips broke off hurling her forward, on to the tile floor! ⚠️ WARNING ⚠️ UNSAFE When I described the broken parts to the Brondell customer service rep. she immediately asked if someone using a walker or wheelchair had been using the unit when it broke. Clearly Brondell is aware of this design flaw but has not addressed the problem. I would not recommend this product to anyone, because people, even the most ambulatory ones May seat at an angle, wiggle, or reach for something while using a Brondell bidet seat, putting themselves at risk for falling.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Good Alternative to more expensive alternatives
I have had a Brondell 1000 for 5 years and my wife absolutely loves it. I only use the heated heat feature myself but my wife swears by it. My brother has TOTO and am not sure the price difference is worth it but value is in the eye of the beholder. Buying a "slightly" used one saves big time on the cost and looks like everything is there except the mounting screws for the remote. Un-Freaking-Believably AWESOME
This bidet seat exceeded my expectations! It has every feature one could ever want. It is so well built, it was so easy to install (no plumber needed) and it works flawlessly. I really like the different heat settings for the water, and for the dryer as well. The aerated water stream is refreshing, and you can even change the water pressure and width of the water stream. I've been recommending it to all my friends. I know a lot of people are looking to buy a bidet seat because of the TP shortage due to COVID-19. You could not pick a better product than this one! I am so satisfied with everything and I'll definitely be looking at other Brondell products because of my good experience with the Swash 1000.

Packed with Features, Prone to Leaking

The brondell swash that we purchased was probably one of the best purchases we've ever made. Not only do I feel like I'm taking off and outer space every time I use it but I feel reborn every time I use it. There's nothing better the not needing to jump into the shower because what's something you regret eating. Lastly the build quality on this with superb! Excellent value, good as a new one
This the second Bidet Swash 1000 we have purchased and installed. The first was for an elongated toilet, this one was for a round toilet. They both work flawlessly. The only problem I had with this one was connecting the water supply line to the three-way splitter. We finally had to modify the supply line by trimming off about 1/8 in. of the plastic nut that connects to the splitter in order for the tapered washer to seat properly.
