    Great Purchase would buy again

I always liked Sennheiser products because they are the most comfortable and best sounding. I have had grado's, sony, v-moda, MEE, and other types of headphones. Sennheiser and grado are the only brands of headphones that I continue to buy and use. V-moda have 6-12 months of use before the battery fails and the headphones become unusable. Sony's products have quality control problems where the pads disintegrate, the comfort is awful, and audio quality is mediocre. Grados have the best sound but, no bass and they dig into your ears. Grados are also only a dedicated listening pair of headphones that is limited to home use due to the bulky nature of the headphones. Sennheiser makes products that are good for the gym, home, and general everyday use. Long battery life it lasts about 2 days continuous use(24-30 hours music and podcasts) before needing a charge. Sound quality is awesome though it doesn't have strong bass if that matters to you. Sound cancellation on the headphones is great though I would like the ability to turn it off on bluetooth mode. It has and aux cable port for direct connection sound quality is better ported which has always been true for Bluetooth devices. I can fall asleep with these headphones because they are very comfortable. I've only had them for a couple weeks but I enjoy them very much so.

  • Most critical review

A fan of Sennheiser professional audio products a bit disappointed with the musicality.

The sound is not bad at a low level. During a crescendo the response becomes unpleasant. The noise cancellation can not be disabled so that has a negative impact on the sound. It's a bit "hollow" Sound is better when using the cable since the bluetooth and noise cancellation are powered off or in other words it is "passive". Also the pads seem a bit stiff which causes a poor seal. If they would relax and become more pliable the bass response should improve There is an odd chemical odor. Hopefully it will diminish quickly over time. It is also possible the sound will improve after a break in period, but we don't know that will happen. Connectivity was easy and reliable. Convenience and freedom of wires is the high selling point.

  • Best Sennheisers I've Ever Worn!

The Momentum M2 is by far the best bluetooth headphone set I've ever used! Audio quality is MUCH better than my Bose QC35, and these Sennheisers can block a lot of ambient noise too, even without the proprietary Bose noise-cancelling feature. Although the audio quality is not quite up to my Massdrop Hifiman HE4XX cans, it's damn close! Close enough that I would call these Sennheiser cans pleasurable even to audiophiles... and I can wear these without bothering my wife, who (if she's close enough) can hear whatever I'm playing when I wear my open-back Massdrops. My college Sennheisers were my first love in headphones decades ago -- the Momentum M2 makes those memories a renewed pleasure while re-instilling my respect for Sennheiser engineering! If you need wireless headphones, look no further -- you won't regret owning these! VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

  • Best Wireless Headphones I've Ever Used

As far as comfortable and sound quality go, these are the best wireless headphones out there. I actually replaced the ear pads with velour pads (but that's purely out of personal preference; they're comfortable enough with the standard pads). They are a bit bass heavy for my taste and lack a bit of the mid-high range, but are still very enjoyable. Great for casual listening....battery seems to last forever. My iPod died in 4 hours, while the headphones lasted for at least 6...probably could have gone to 10. I love this headphones and recommend them to anyone who wants high quality wireless headphones. (I honestly haven't used them cabled yet, so I can't speak on that).

  • Truly Awesome headphones

Definitely worth the money. The sound is great, they're comfortable, they look great, the controls are easy to use and they really give you a refined listening experience. If you actually like hearing music the way it should be heard and you need to cut the cord, this is the way to go. And the battery life is outstanding, I can go for days without charging.

  • Sennheiser Momentum 2.0 Over Ear

I by no means am an audiophile, but I purchased these headphones because I work in Landscaping as well as an avid gym goer and was attracted to the wide array of features. Comfortable, lightweight, sturdy, noise cancelling works amazing, crisp sound all over, tight bass, they are better than Bose headphones and I'll argue that any day of the week. Don't let the price tag scare you away, they are at that price for a reason.

  • An excellent purchase all around.

These headphones are excellent in every way. They are light, comfortable, stylish, and they sound excellent. They aren't as aggressively noise cancelling as some other brands, but I believe their sound quality to be superior to almost all else at this price point. They have a long battery in wireless mode, and the wireless function works well even over long distances. No major complaints.

  • Pretty damn good

Very high-quality wireless headphones. - Sound quality is great, very natural sounding (however I could do with some more bass, but I guess that's subjective). Haven't noticed any sound quality change when using wirelessly compared to wired. - Active noise cancelling is a nice touch and it's not overpowering. Mostly blocks out low frequency noises. - You can connect with multiple devices. I've connected with two, with no problem and the Momentum switched seamlessly between them, when I received a call. - Battery life is amazing, after a full charge you can easily daily drive it for three days at least (6-8 hours of use/day). Now for the minor inconveniences: - The earcups are a tad bit small for me (I have large ears), but after a few days I got used to it. - The padding on the top is virtually non-existent, which may cause pressure problems on the top of your head, because this is a heavy headphone. - Fortunately the clamping pressure is just right, so not much weight is applied to the top. You might need to wiggle it around a bit sometimes to find the optimal spot, though. - Because this is a closed back headphone, sweating might cause some problems for you on hot days. To each their own. Overall, for around 40% of the original MSRP this is a great choice if you want a VERY good wireless headphone.

  • Great sound, freedom from wires.

I had a pair of wired Senheiser headphones for the last 8 years and finally got sick of fighting with the cable (getting it stuck in my desk chair, catching it while typing, etc). I tried some $50-80 range bluetooth headphones and they sounded horrible. These maintain the audio quality I've come to expect (never gonna be as good as wired, but still excellent), while adding active noise cancelling, excellent battery life, and no strings attached! Also, the built-in microphone is a plus, but you have to really speak up. I'll probably still get a free-standing mic for my desk eventually.

  • Quality headphones; subpar earpads

The sound quality is great and the headphones stay on your head very well. However, the earpads on the pair I got were a little small and thin and would hurt my ears after a few minutes. Maybe they had just been used a lot, but I had to buy new, thicker, bigger ones to make them wearable. Not a super big deal. Also, I have not been able to make Linux detect the built in microphone when in wired mode, and the sound quality drops dramatically when using the microphone over Bluetooth.
