Having seen this being used on a TV programme, It was a no brainer that it should be part of my joinery toolkit. The parcel arrived well packaged and and on time, the Router it does have a quality feel to it. the housing is metal and plastic and is well made. I have seen similar products at a Local Chain d.i.y store and they looked inferior to this. Set up is straightforward, the instruction booklet leaves a bit to be desired, but is sufficient to allow setup. It has to be remembered that this is a light weight tool for small jobs, I have used it for fitting hinges and the like and smaller flush rebating jobs when flooring a room , but where power is needed I use a bigger machine. that being said this machine is not without power and will cope well with most small jobs without protest. My only complaint is that it does not come with a canvas carry bag to put the depth stop and the guide fence in but that's just me being fussy.Read full review

I have only just tried this product so this is only a first impression as it is yet to do any work. It seems good and if it lasts, my rating would increase to 4*. Main criticism is the lead is too short. In addition you have to buy a 1/4" collett ( if you already have a collection of imperial cutters) and plug to get it operational which adds about £12 to cost. Everything else appears to work well - fine height adjustment, locking mechanism and dust extraction are all as good as any I have used. Motor sounds a little whiny, but most of these smaller units do. For me the appeal is a low cost machine which can be left set up with a commonly used cutter to reduce changeover times. If I were to get 2 or 3 years of light to medium use out of it I would be happy. I have definitely paid more for poorer machines! I have now bought 2 of these and the second one arrived with some minor (mainly cosmetic) damage but this doesn't seem to affect it's operation.Read full review

This is similar in look and design to a Makita, without the variable speed control, instead has 6 speed settings. It may not have the same power as a full size router, but take your time and don't force it and the results are excellent. It comes with 3 collets, probably the most useful is the 6.35mm or 1/4 inch. There are also several accessories available that will turn it from a trimmer to a plunge router. It's compact size means that it fits the hand very well. Overall a pleasing piece of kit.

It's a great price/values product. I've used several times beside of my bigger router, and I found it useful. I had some doubts about its precision as it isn't a known brand, but haven't had any problem with it. Useful, handy, strong enough. Recommended.

Built like a tank this little router is very easy to use. Comes with all accessories even including a set of brushes. Matches the Ryobi in every way so it is interchangeable. Very pleased with this purchase.
