Good Sound Quality and Comfort.
Great headphones for exercising, They stay in place and are comfortable and lightweight. The sound quality is very good and the cord is a perfect length to keep them from becoming tangled. The only disappointment I had was that the controls do not work with older IPods but the switch is not conveniently located anyway so I probably wouldn't use it even if it did work. A fine, but delicate device.
The sound quality is excellent. The instrument and its wiring are light and very delicate. No useful directions came with the unit. I don't know what the center button on the apparent volume control does, if anything. I accidentally leaned back too far in my chair and yanked out the small plug from the computer jack. The microphone ceased working. It looks unfixable to me. The earbuds are still working well. . I tried to order a new one, and found that the unit is no longer available from Amazon. I found that they are still available on eBay and ordered a presumably used one. It has arrived and appears to be a new, unused unit. It works fine, and I have moved the computer box closer to the front of my desk. I would recommend this unit to anyone (perhaps a careful brain surgeon) who likes high quality sound and who does not lean back while plugged in.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

This is probably my 3rd pair of these headphones. Better than any other product on the market in my opinion. Sound quality superior! Only reason I don't have original pair is the wear & tear on cords. These replaced the 2nd pair that I lost. Use everyday for phone, listening and go to gym with them.. stay in ears and work great! Great Sound for a Comfortable "Open" Design
I use earbuds while cycling and absolutely need an "open" design (i.e., the silicone tips do not insert into and create a seal within the ear canal, which means that you can hear the car that may be about to hit you). There aren't many designs like this out there but vs. the others (i.e., Yurbuds, some Sennheiser models, the discontinued Monster iSport Strive, and some others) these Bose buds both sound the best and are the most comfortable (by quite a margin). As long as there isn't too much noise (or wind) around you Bose has sculpted a sound which compensates well for the open design: they produce bass that's solid but not bloated, articulate mids, and crisp/clear highs. Negatives are that they sound/fit/function no better than my previous Bose SIE2i's (you'd think that Bose would've found something in the last five years to improve this design), the cable keeps getting shorter with each new iteration of a Bose "sport" model (I route the cable under my jersey and would be happier if the ~44" cable were closer to 48"), and quality is a bit suspect given the cost of these (the 3-button controller on my SIE2i's died after 3yrs. and there's lot's of online comments about how easily these new Soundsports can break). OTOH - I do like the change to a straight (vs. sort-of angled) plug, but that's a subjective issue.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

VERY PLEASED with fit and sound quality
For whatever reason my ears are not an “average” configuration, for example the Apple earbuds that came with my iphone never fit and I started to think that I was just “ different.” Purchased these based on the S/M/L options and that I often am listening in urban areas as a pedestrian or are driving in my car where some sensitivity to surrounding sound is a safety issue. VERY HAPPY with this purchase. Turns out I am a Small (whew, good to know) and not such an audiofile that I cannot appreciate quality sound (do think the sound quality is quite good). For example, am listening to Jill Lepore read her “TheseTruths” which has wildly varying high and low volume commentary (e.g. lots of hot spots) and the phones are doung just great. great for biking
As others have stated, these give good sound and stay put pretty well, but do not block your ear canals. That means you can also hear what's going on around you, and that is imperative when cycling. If I'm mowing or on a plane, I would prefer an over-ear model ideally, because those are times it helps a lot to reduce ambient noise. Sound is Awsome i do receive some interference every now and then but not to often, Battery's last me all day driving and i listen to music all day almost. The neck band is a little to light and it slips around my neck to one side if i do not have in both ear buds . I think if you make a little bigger on each end and add some weight or more batteries to hold in place. It would help.
