These older SSDs are better value than modern ones, especially when you factor in their use of double layer NAND rather than triple or quadruple NAND. Such memory is faster and longer lasting than triple or quadruple layer NAND Samsung's Magician software is quite good in conjunction with these too. I didn't check to see whether these had been modified, so it's true that they might be fake or malicious. Always check that flash memory you buy online is legitimate.
