Awesome older tech.
This worked with my Sony Bravia TV, Anthem MRX 540 and older minidisc player on the first try. I was only really interested in turning on the TV and AV receiver simultaneously without having to use two remotes, but now, I'm using it for changing the volume too. I purchased an older Sony minidisc player from a pawn shop about 10 years ago without a remote, and now it can be fully controlled by this remote. I was very surprised. Setup is a breeze. Just download the Harmony software into your computer, plug in the remote, answer a few questions and wallah! No looking up codes. Just tell it what you've got for a tv or receiver and it hooks right up on the first try. Nice remote. Too bad it's no more made.
