Strong and hard
Much superior to the water-based varnishes (which can dry with a soft sticky feel). It dries relatively quickly to a rock hard smooth finish. I used it to varnish some wooden bowling balls and it stood up well to being bashed about.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great Varnish if incorrectly labelled!
It’s good varnish, goes on well and looks great when it’s dry. The only problem is that the tin doesn’t have the gloss or satin label in the way portrayed in the picture, but has a label stuck on the lid. This said Satin, which is what I ordered, but there is no way it’s satin, but is clearly a gloss!
