Like my father before me!
When I needed to buy some more solder there was only one brand that I wanted. When I was a boy, my late father used to use multicore solder, and swore by it. Over the years I have used whatever was available, and been mildly disappointed with the results. All I could remember was how the tube looked, but I found it, and having bought some and been more than happy with the results I will never use anything else again. Strong, quick joints can be made with this solder, the flux is already there inside, which makes for a better joint with less mess. Armed with a gas soldering iron, my wonderful multicore and some shrink tube I am a soldering god!
