Clean cut
A good saw for cutting wooden laminate with a clean finish. My laminate was 12mm thick so the blade had become dull when the 20m2 kitchen floor was finished. That being said it was a good value saw that was perfect for the job.

Worktop cutting
I bought an expensive, standard 3m length of worktop. All of the advice I could find detailed cutting by electric saw (which I don't have). I used masking tape and this saw to cut a chip-free edge. Much cheaper than buying another worktop .... or looking at a chpped edge for a long time! Worth every penny.
