NotesAt the root of their music are traditional folk-rock elements like Acoustic Guitar, Bass, Percussion and Solid Songwriting, however it is the addition of non-traditional elements that make them so visionary and unique; Glockenspiel, Beat-Boxing, Ethereal effects, Live Looping/Samples and Cajon (a wooden box) continuously captivate audiences. The self-titled EP was recorded at Chalet, Jukasa and North of 7 studios with engineers Sean Gugula (Neko Case, Josh Reichmann) Theo Posthumus and Robin Short, The album was Mixed by Laurence Currie (Holy Fuck, Sloan, Wintersleep) and mastered by J. Lapointe (Joel Plaskett, Buck 65)) Future History is comprised of members with previous success in the music industry with acts such as; Endeavour, Stabilo (EMI), Perkins and The Dunes. Future History have performed in some of the most legendary venues in Canada and have been the featured band on the radio station Edge 102.1. They headlined the sold out launch party for Epidemic Music Group on July 11th, 2009 at the Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto. Any one who has experienced the craft and live performance of Future History is well aware of the intensity and emotion they radiate; 'This band is relevant, with so many 'supposedly new' cookie-cutter artists it is refreshing to discover a band that truly is original'
