A great watch for the price
My husband has had 3 of these now. He is a builder and anything 'good' doesn't stay good for long. These watches are really quite robust, keep good time and are such a good price that when the battery stops, I buy him a new one because once the back is removed, they are no longer waterproof, which we found to our cost on holiday one year. He can shower (and swim) in them which gets the dirt off after work. The dial is very easy to read, they are very easy to change the time on and so for a basic, cheap watch, they are fantastic. He no longer wears his expensive watch which also needs a new battery but will cost upwards of £40 for a battery and re-seal - this does the job perfectly for £6-7 a time!

Uncomfortable to wear now because of uneven surfaces on the metal clasp. Will not buy another if it is made in Japan after this let down.
I have been buying this watch for many years for personal use. Why you may ask. It is inexpensive but does have one major flaw. The strap keeps breaking, not strong enough. The watch lasts for far longer than the strap. Previous purchases have been made in China. This one was made in Japan and I prefer the previous (chinese) product for two reasons. The clasp on that was comfortable and on this one it is irritating my skin. That is because there are uneven edges on the metal clasp which is down to a change of design and poorer quality finish. Also the glass on the Japanese one is sticking up, proud of the bezel. The previous chinese one was flush and therefore thinner. So, all in all, only 3 stars now where it would have rated 4 stars previously. If I can't get another Chinese one next time I may not bother replacing it like for like in the future. I may try a different watch altogether. Must say I was surprised to find Japanese manufacture being inferior to that of the Chinese. I would have expected the opposite actually. Read full review

Unbeatable value, clear and easy to read watch face.
Bargain basement quartz analogue watch with plastic housing and strap. The face is white with black digits and hands (including second hand) and is clear and easy to read. I bought this because the battery on my previous version of this watch is flat and I cannot go out to get the battery replaced because of Coronavirus lockdown. My previous watch is now over 10 years old and has needed a couple of new batteries and a new strap. Unbeatable value!

Great Watch.
These are great watches, I think I have had 10 0ver the years. Why so many? Because it is cheaper to buy a new one than replace the battery. they have all been exactly the same - comfortable to wear (weighing only a few ounces), sturdy and reliable. Keeps time perfectly, unpretentious, classic design - "Less is More".

Brilliant watch
First purchased one of these 3 years back and was delighted with it. Numbers are easy to read and strap easy clean for every day use. Unfortunately after 3 years of constant wear the plastic strap broke as they do. I was then so happy to find these watches were still available and purchased another 2. Highly recommended.

Great time keeper ever....strap is too short for large male wrist only gripe...but I have had 4 now...last one lost as cannot strap up fully and it must have fell off....good for trade !..Best time keepers I have ever had....better than a Rolex...and no sweat if its lost....My son nicks them so have to keep buying more..100 stars if possible..

Casio have been making watches for many years I have had a few they are reliable and excellent value. I have had three of this model they are so well priced I find it is more cost effective to buy a new one when the battery fails. (which is a long time before it does)

Resin moulded Casio watch
Casio quality wristwatch is still as relevant today as it was 30+ years ago. I like to wear my watch when I sleep. This inevitability means that even quality brand watches suffer from their leather straps become unglued. This white faced model is far easier to read than the black dial.

This is the best designed watch that I have seen. It's a classic. No unnecessary bits and pieces, just the bits one needs. I have had four of these over several years. They have normally had to be replaced only when the battery ran out or when the strap broke.

The best value Brand Watch, in my opinion.
Durable, reliable, keeping excellent time, at a price point where, no well known, globally recognisable manufacturer competes, in terms of price, or Casio renowned accuracy. Excellent value for money, a Watch you can wear everyday, without it spoiling your finances. I would say "the Strap is not the most comfortable, however, will withstand most of what everyday use throws at it, in correlation with the Watch, as was intended by Casio, in my opinion. To sum up, an inexpensive, less flashy G-Shock without the gimmicks or cost.
