If you use throw aways why not use ones that you actually hear with and get the protection too.
These were bought for a friend, and a bit of a back story I own two of my own (one is at work and one for play). Battery life for the plugs has been more than 16 hours and never noticed the actual recharge time. One of the best parts is going with double hearing protection there does seem to be any real loss in being able to hear conversations.
