Totally unexpected album, way above and beyond what I remember from his previous songs " Green Door" etc more people need to hear this album. Shaky's new album 2016
Shakin' Stevens is back with a new album, with a difference. It's country/folk, with a bluesy feel to this new style of music. The album has excellent sound production, ten tracks, of which seven have been written by Shaky himself. Shaky recently did his family tree and history, so all the songs are about members of his family, so the album is very personal to him. I cannot fault the album at all. If i were to, it would be that there is no picture of Shaky on the artwork!
