A bit dissapointing package
I was a bit dissapointed when I got this Boney M box set. I expected the records to be exact copies of the original ones - with original style sleeves, artwork and posters. But the box only contained records in simple one piece sleeves, and even the graphics were not of highest quality. And no posters or anything extra at all (no 50 page booklet, promised in some promo advertisement). So there really was none of that Boney M feeling that original records and their artwork provided. I did not listen to any of the records. I wanted to keep the pack as pristine as possible, because I sold the box away immediately at a record fair. So sorry, I cannot comment on the sound quality. But considering the selling price as new, I do not think this is good value. For that price I would expect more. If you do not care of the extras but music only, this might be an OK buy for you. But even then I recommend to look for a good bargain. But if you want the whole Boney M experience, go and hunt for good condition original ones. You can find them at the same price or even cheaper than the ones in this box.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Brilliant Boxset.
This boxset is really nicely presented, with 9 studio albums (including the Xmas album) remastered and featuring the original artwork. All it’s missing which would make it pretty perfect is the Magic Of Boney M album which although a compilation it featured some hit singles that weren’t included on the albums ( Hooray Its A Holiday, I See A Boat On The River, My Friend Jack). A minor detail- this boxset is really well done. Very impressed.
