Quality product for waterproofing ponds/pools/ garden water bowls
I used this product to waterproof a large garden bowl to make a patio mini-pond. It stinks to high heaven but is very easy to use. Apply with an old brush you can throw away afterwards & wrap brush tightly in tinfoil to preserve between coats. Multiple thin coats painted on at 1hr intervals (depending on drying time). I waited for a hot sunny day. Then it says it takes 3 days to 'cure'. Mine's curing in the sun right now & it looks good! I did 4 coats and it feels well sealed to the touch. Don't get any on your hands whist applying, it's almost impossible to get off. It comes in clear or black & I used clear. It looks shiny like varnish when dry. My only grouch was I felt it was a bit expensive, hence 4 stars & not 5. I would recommend.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Brilliant and perfect for the job
After trying different products to seal my waterfall I took one last chance on another product (this product) I completely re-cemented my waterfall and coated with the 3 recommended coats of g4 and I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of each coat and the finished product it not only makes the waterfall look like real rock instead of cement but it has completely sealed the cement and left a nice varnished look to the cement and stones, would definitely recommend this productVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

does the job
It's easy to apply. Use an old brush as it's not east to remove G4. It's a bit of a pain putting on 3 coats with a max of 4 hours between each, especially if it rains. Then the 72 hour wait while the final coat cures. I use it on the pools and water falls feeding my main pond, and have to arrange a temporary feed to keep the filtration and oxygenation going. But I'd rather do that than risk having the water contaminated with cement etc. I recommend this product.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Does what it says on the tin.
