Product Information
Raoul Walsh's western, set during the 1840 "Seminole Wars" in Florida, is a rarity, with barely a horse to be seen. Gary Cooper plays Quincy Wyatt, an army captain who leads a small force to attack gun runners who are supplying the enemy. His mission is successful, but his force find themselves the target of the Seminoles, led by Chief Oscala, whose knowledge of the Everglades is superior to that of the the retreating army force. As Wyatt struggles to keep his men together and safe from the natural perils as well as enemy attacks, he must also cope with the attentions of Judy Beckett, one of the prisoners rescued from the Seminole.Product Identifiers
