  • Warm and nostalgic

Cider With Rosie is a wonderful read. A remembered picture of life before, during and after the First World War in Glouctershire. Colourful charecters come to life under this mastery of description almost as good at D Thomas. A changing social background is scenery for the lives of ordinary folk made less ordinary. The book will pull you in and take you back to a time all but forgotten. The illustration too is wonderful and a great adition to the story line.

  • Superb

One of the most beautiful books ever written with prose that is written as sheer poetry.
