It does what it says on the tin!
For home use this shredder is ideal. This type is preferential to a strip type as it spits out small bite size chunks and is therefore superior by type and secure in the knowledge that identity theft and sensitive material will be less prone in that regard. One aspect that owners should be aware of is that it gets hot and will cut out. This comes about if you feed A4 sheets of paper one after another in a non-stop fashion which I think is due to overheating and to protect the shredder motor. It's well constructed and very easy to set-up and operate. Overall excellent
This shredder is so much better than my old one. Its a good size, its sturdy and it cross cuts . It is a little noisy but that's no matter .... it shreds in no time. An excellent product. I am very delighted with this shredder.
An excellent product. I purchased this to replace the exact same model I had been using for several years until it gave up the ghost. I purchased a Fellowes PowerShred P-30C 6 Sheet 15 Ltr Cross-Cut Shredder but had to return it to Argos as it was very substandard in comparison to the ProAction model. The Fellowes model used to stop after 3 minutes continuous use, and took 20 minutes to cool down. It also chewed up paper at one edge rather than shredding the paper. The Fellowes model was a lot quieter than the ProAction model and it could shred staples. But I am more than happy with this ProAction model, even though it was a re-furbished model. Still superior. Good stuff
Bought to replace a shredder I've had for a few years but constantly jams. Had forgotten what it was like to have a shredder that does what it should! Really impressed with the speed and ease it shreds the stuff I put in it. Great it cross cuts to secure the waste and personal envelopes and letters I put in there. Great home shredder
This is great for shredding stuff at home. I bought it as I had a couple of boxes of paperwork that needed shredding, my only niggle was that it kept stopping if it had the slightest jam and I had to wait half an hour for it to allow me to try again but saying that I was shredding a lot more than you normally would at home.
